Peggy Cottrell

Peggy Cottrell holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary’s University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has extensive experience working with children and families, including six years in the school system working with children individually and in groups and providing in-home therapy to families. Peggy also spent three years working with adolescents, children, couples and families at Mount Olivet Counseling Center. She has completed training in Prepare/Enrich, a relationship assessment tool for use with couples.

Peggy completed her internship at Hennepin County Family Court Services where she was trained in mediation and custody evaluation. Since this time, Peggy has specialized in working with families experiencing difficulty with divorce and custody issues. She has completed training in Early Neutral Evaluation, and currently provides Parenting Consulting, Coaching, as well as Reunification Services.

Peggy is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
